If you fancy yourself a connoisseur of highbrow culture then make sure you wander over to this magnificent art nouveau style building. It’s here that the artisans of the Prague Symphony Orchestra exercise their considerable musical talents in the majestic Smetana Hall. The building’s décor is characterised by stained glass, tiles, murals and gold and silver created by a number of dedicated Czech artists, and you’ll also find three restaurants and various different art exhibitions. For the whole experience we reckon you’re better off coughing up that little bit extra for the guided tour, as you’ll get a much better perspective on the place. For more info visit the
Municipal House's web page.
