Just over the water where the River Vltava splits the city you’ll find the majestic Prague Castle and its sprawling leafy gardens. You can literally spend days contentedly roaming the various monuments on this enormous site and it’s well worth the visit. Within the grounds you’ll find amongst other things the charmingly ornate St. Vitus’ Cathedral and the wonderfully baroque creation of St. George’s Basilica.
